First Launching in Thailand Custom Nasal and Chin 2018 at SLC Hospital
On November 28, 2018, SLC Medical Center and KEOSAN, a leading medical device manufacturer for aesthetic surgery from Seoul, South Korea, co-hosted the event “First Launching in Thailand: Custom Nasal and Chin” to introduce custom-made silicone implants for the nose and chin — the first official launch of such products in Thailand.
Dr. Chatpol Kongfuangfung, a plastic surgeon and former special lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Mahasarakham University, and currently practicing at SLC, shared his expertise and techniques on forehead augmentation using custom-made silicone implants. These implants are specially designed based on each patient’s CT scan results, ensuring a personalized fit.
The event also featured a live surgery workshop on forehead augmentation with custom-made silicone, showcasing a modern and widely recognized surgical method. Many plastic surgeons and interested doctors from various provinces attended the event to observe the procedures, exchange experiences, and engage in discussions.
This event marked an important step in enhancing Thailand’s medical and aesthetic surgery capabilities to meet international standards.
